An effortlessly adjustable task light that supports the latest ballast-in-bulb technology, the Diffrient Task Light II maximizes the efficiency of compact fluorescent bulbs to provide long-lasting pure white illumination while maintaining the slim design aesthetic made popular by the original Diffrient Task Light. The improved design eliminates the in-line ballast brick to minimize component failure rates and eradicate leakage currents.
Boasting sleek good looks and the longest reach on the market, the Diffrient Light is precision-designed and engineered with a perfect internal counterbalance. One-touch positioning—without the friction knobs or rigid joints found on other task lights—enables users to easily move and angle the light exactly where they need it most.
Available with a single or double arm, the Diffrient Task Light II is made primarily of recycled aluminum and features a slim, parabolic shade to improve illumination and prevent glare.
The Clamp Mount option can be mounted to the edge of any horizontal surface with a thickness up to 2" and at least 1.75" clearance extending inward from the outer edge.
The Wall Mount option can be mounted directly onto any vertical, drillable and screwable surface. We recommend mounting onto wood or directly into a stud behind drywall. If you will be mounting directly into drywall, you must use a heavy-duty drywall anchor.

Designed to use two-pin slim-style bulbs, which are 50 – 100% more energy-efficient than current-generation LEDs, and 300 – 400% more energy-efficient than incandescent bulbs. Accepts 18-watt slim-line GU24 compact fluorescent bulbs.
